Two really important things that you won't hear in the MSM about more threats to American business (what we used to think of as 'the nearest thing to a free market economy') and your investments from the Obama Administration:
Bloomberg reports that by a 3-2 vote, the SEC has just required that 'Companies must consider the effects of global warming and efforts to curb climate change when disclosing business risks to investors, the U.S.' See the full story here.
The SEC has approved by a 4-1 vote the change to Money Market Rule 2a-7 so the legal guarantee to redeem Money Market funds on demand can be suspended. In other words, the government can--at will--freeze your Money Market account. See the legal mumbo-jumbo, here.
